Niseko

About Niseko

Niseko is the most famous Japanese ski area, and has benefited from significant international investment over the last 20 years turning into a ski resort of the best global standards. High quality hotels and apartments are on offer, as well as a ready supply of fresh powder.
Niseko United (the ski area) is comprised of four resorts on the one mountain, Niseko Annupuri (1,308m). Seasonal winds from the Eurasian continent pick up moisture over the warm currents of the Sea of Japan to from snow clouds and in turn some of the driest, lightest powder in the world. With its rich variety of terrain and beautiful winter woods, Niseko offers an unforgettable experience for all levels of skier/snowboarder.

Niseko Grand Hirafu:

The largest base area and most popular, Hirafu is truly a unique ski town. Offering the most options for accommodation, amenities, restaurants and nightlife in the Niseko area, and out of all Japanese ski resorts, Hirafu village is the main hub for the Niseko United resort area and considered by many to be 'the place to stay!' There is a diverse range of accommodation from ski in ski out hotels and apartments, to lodges and Japanese style pensions for all budgets. Some accommodation will require a short shuttle bus ride on the free village shuttle to reach the ski lifts.

Niseko Village:

Formerly known as Higashiyama, Niseko Village has benefited from significant investment and improvement over recent years. You will find two world class hotels (Hilton Niseko Village and The Green Leaf), as well as the Kasara Townhouses and a selection of small lodges and hotels. Niseko Village's main pulse is where traditional and contemporary concepts meld to offer world-class restaurants and bars, designer boutiques, art and cultural events. Conveniently located, the village allows for seamless ski-in, ski-out access between mountain adventures and indoor diversions, day and night.

Niseko Hanazono:

Powder, piste, pipe and parks: HANAZONO has it all! A variety of courses including dedicated learning areas for beginners, terrain parks, and the exciting tree runs of Strawberry and Blueberry Fields. Additionally, the HANAZONO 308 Centre offers an inviting apres ski experience for all.

Niseko Annupuri

Annupuri is located in a quasi-national park land and known as the most quiet and serene area of Niseko. Annupuri allows easy access to the peak and some of the best deep powder runs Niseko has to offer via gondola and short lift rides.
