Located high above British Columbia's Okanagan Valley and a 55 minute drive north from the Kelowna International Airport, SilverStar is a haven for skiers and snowboarders looking for a big mountain experience away from the line-ups. With 3,282 acres of skiable terrain (BCs 3rd largest) and 131 runs spread across four mountain faces, the variety of terrain is second to none. Long, perfectly groomed cruisers, steep powder filled chutes, long winch-cat black diamond runs, glades, back-country, Terrain Park and more combine to keep all levels of skiers and boarders entertained.

Beautiful Silverstar

We loved our family trip to Silverstar BC. It’s such a beautiful small, ski resort but has everything you need. Our 2 bedroom condo at the Snowbird Lodge was great – very comfortable and well equipped. Great views up to the mountain and perfect position with ski in/ski out. Also very central in the village so could walk to bakery for coffee and delicious pastries, to the pubs for apres ski and the many great little restaurants. Private hot tub on our verandah was amazing. Transfers to and from Kelowna airport were great -overall a fabulous holiday.

Merry Christmas from Big White & Silver Star

Silver Star was awesome, great conditons and skiing.

Had a lovely surprise basket when we arrived.

Great ski school as well, Koby had a blast.

Just landed at Big White. Xmas tree in the room was a great surprise.

Have a box of decorations waiting for us to cover the tree.

Had our photo with Santa in the village so we are all set for Christmas now.

Merry Xmas to you and your family.

Snowbird Lodge is located at the slopeside end of the Village and offers 54 suites with spectacular views of the Monashee Mountains and the front side of Silver Star ski area. There is no better ski-in/ski-out accommodation on the hill than Snowbird Lodge. Current amenities at Snowbird Lodge include a 24-seat theater, fitness room, family lounge, heated underground parking, a kids play area, and equipment locker and wax room.
