Dinner Plain Village
The nearby village of Dinner Plain is 12km from Mt Hotham and accessed by a public bus, or an easy drive. It is outside the National Park (meaning no park entry fees if you stay here) and offers a wide range of accommodation which is usually less expensive than other options within the Hotham Village.
