The Perisher Village is located in the Kosciuszko National Park, a 35 minute easy drive from Jindabyne (when it snows the road is cleared to the main car-park). At a base of 1,720m above sea level, most of Perisher’s accommodation is on the snow. The resort’s highest ski lifted point sits at 2,034m.
Perisher (formerly Perisher Blue) is Australia and the Southern Hemisphere's largest resort which, covers four main mountain areas; Mt Perisher, Guthega, Blue Cow and Smiggin Holes. Perisher Valley is set on an enormous 1,245 hectares of skiable terrain over four mountain peaks, Perisher ski resort offers terrain of a standard and style to suit everyone - skier or boarder, beginner and professional alike.
The resorts areas of Perisher Valley and Blue Cow are connected by the Skitube, with all four resort areas interconnected by ski trails and chairlifts. Altogether Perisher has a total of 47 lifts, a downhill skiable area of 1,245ha with 54ha of snowmaking area and 104km of marked cross country trails.
Accommodation is on offer in the villages of Perisher and Smiggins Holes and includes hotels, on snow lodges, ski in ski out accommodation as well as some apartments.
