The Vail Resorts owned Australian ski areas of Perisher, Hotham and Falls Creek will be operating a staggered release of lift tickets to avoid overloading their IT systems. Perhaps they have learned a thing or two from Thredbo’s experience. The following is what will happen:
Monday 15 June – Hotham and Falls Creek
- 8:30am: Hotham 3+ Day Consecutive Lift Tickets, Lessons and Rentals for 24 June to 19 July.
- 1:30pm: Falls Creek 3+ Day Consecutive Lift Tickets, Lessons and Rentals for 24 June to 19 July.
Tuesday 16 June – Perisher
- 8:30am: Perisher 3+ Day Consecutive Lift Tickets, Lessons and Rentals for 24 June to 19 July.
Lift tickets for 3 Days at Hotham in July are $138/day and for 5 days are $127/day. 5 Day passes are cheaper in June outside of the school holidays. For all pricing, check the relevant resort website.
Further information will be released on 17 June about when you can purchase tickets for later in the season. In the meantime, for those planning a school holiday or early season visit to Perisher, Mt Hotham or Falls Creek, get ready!
Did you buy tickets? Or attempt to for any ski holiday? Tell us in the comments about your experience.
