Written Cancellation Policy

All prices displayed are in AUD. Prices are subject to currency adjustment either up or down until booking is paid in full. You may pay in full at the time of booking to lock in your exchange rate, otherwise your final payment may be subject to change based on currency fluctuations. You are making a booking with Absolute Travel Enterprises Pty Ltd t/as Ski Travel Company (ABN: 28166129282). PAYMENT: The Ski Travel Company accept payment via VISA or MASTERCARD or DIRECT DEPOSIT. A 1.5% surcharge applies to all payments by visa or mastercard. Prices are subject to currency fluctuations until booking is paid in full. CANCELLATIONS: Minimum cancellation fee is 20% of total booking cost will be payable for cancellations at any time. Any charges passed on by our suppliers will also be payable. Typically cancellations within 80 days of departure will incur additional charges or fees as levied by the hotels, apartments or operators which in many cases can be as high as 100%. Please note all deposits are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel you are advised to contact our support centre. AMENDMENTS: If you want to change any details of your itinerary (such as eg travel dates or different hotel), we will do our best to help, but cannot guarantee that the changes can be made. You should call our Support Centre on (02) 9810 1000 in normal business hours (AEST). An amendment fee of $50 will be payable per change, as well as any additional costs passed on to us by our suppliers as a result of the change. The price of your new arrangements will be based on the prices that apply on the day you ask for a change. These prices may not be the same as when you booked the products or services. In some cases amendments may not be possible. COSTING & RESERVATIONS are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Actual prices are displayed in our booking engine and may be subject to change without notice. Costs within the Ski Travel Company booking engine are expressed and processed in AUSTRALIAN dollars. Prices may change on a daily basis due to exchange rate fluctuations and are not final until bookings are paid in full. AIR FARES: Any airfares quoted include taxes but may or may not include checked baggage, meals or entertainment depending on the conditions of the fare. All airfare prices are subject to change until the day of payment and ticketing. Increases in fares and taxes are beyond the control of Ski Travel Company and are not negotiable. NO FEES ARE CHARGED for online bookings made on www.skitravelcompany.com.au however credit card surcharges apply. STC support staff are available to take phone reservations in normal business hours (AEST). Any verbal quote provided by STC is an estimate only of the price. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend that all travellers be insured to cover against cancellation, personal liability and theft of your personal belongings (including ski/snowboard equipment). Ask your consultant now for a quote for comprehensive travel insurance for your ski holiday. PHOTOS AND INFORMATION: Any photos and descriptions provided by the Ski Travel Company should be considered as an example only and may differ from the actual product you have purchased. While we make every effort to provide accurate and correct information, the Ski Travel Company will not be held liable for any errors or omissions relating to the description or display of products within our website or booking engine. PASSPORTS & VISAS: A valid passport (with a validity of at least 6 months after return date) is required for all persons departing from Australia and non-Australian a valid Australian re-entry visa to return. VISITING CANADA and the USA: Visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Written Deposit Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking for all travel within 60 days. For bookings made more than 60 days in advance, please ask your consultant for deposit and final payment requirements or refer to the payment schedule specified in your quote. The following payment methods are accepted: Credit Cards: VISA or MASTERCARD only A 1.5% surcharge applies to all payments by credit card. Check In

Check in: Strictly 4.00pm A small luggage store is available where guests can leave their bags when arriving early or departing late. This area is not secure but is covered by CCTV. Alpine Retreat Mt Buller accepts no liability for items left here; this is at the owner’s risk. A credit card imprint will be taken on arrival/check-in as a security bond. Please note that Mt Buller Resort Management requires all guests to complete a Guest Registry and provide a valid ID number for every adult (passport or driving license number) staying in the resort. Please ensure that you have a credit card and ID with you for presentation on arrival.

Children

All prices are per room so children stay free on existing bedding. The 5th bed in Alpine rooms for 5 is for children only to ensure your comfortable stay.

Other Policy

Please note that the area around the Alpine Retreat Mt Buller can be affected by snowfalls; good shoes and easy to carry bags are advisable in snowy conditions. The property is set over 4 levels and does not have a lift. Due to the age of the building, noise can travel easily so guests are asked to be mindful and respectful of others who may be trying to sleep by keeping noise to a minimum inside the building. Off-Piste Bar is open weeknights night from 4.00pm to 1.00am, Saturdays from 12.00pm to 1.00am and from 12.00 to 11.30pm on Sundays. It hosts live entertainment on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday nights when some rooms may be able to hear noise from the bar.

Pets Policy

Pets are not allowed into the Mt Buller resort or at the Alpine Retreat Mt Buller due to it's location being within a National Park
